Documents & manual invoices
Cost estimate, report, invoice, Swiss QR invoice and ZUGFeRD/Factur-X e-invoice (PDF/A-3 with embedded XML) for Germany — all as PDF with your logo. Photograph the registration document (CH Fahrzeugausweis / DE-AT Zulassungsbescheinigung) — the AI reads make, model, year, plate, VIN/chassis number and first registration and fills the fields in the report editor for you. Optional, off by default, using your own provider key.
The VIN scanner reads the chassis number straight off the vehicle — the crop is freely adjustable for better recognition — or you type it in by hand. It reads either on the device (offline) or via your AI provider (online); make and approximate model year are then decoded from the VIN offline.

US providers only if you explicitly choose them — never set as the default.
Personal data is redacted
Before upload, the app blacks out the holder's name and address directly in the image. On-camera framing guide plus a mandatory review step — manual entry always available.
Your key, straight to the provider
Bring-your-own-key: you use your own provider key and pay them directly. The image goes from your device straight to the provider — never through PDR Kalk's servers.
Compliant & auditable
The scan starts only once you've confirmed a few things — for example that your data won't be used to train the AI, and how long it's kept. Only the fact that a scan happened is logged — never the image, your key, or the data read. Built around Swiss and EU data-protection law.
Once you enable and use the feature, the redacted image is sent only to the provider you choose — with your key, never through PDR Kalk. Without activation, nothing leaves your device.
